The Role
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Property Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join a dynamic team in Yeovil. You’ll handle a diverse caseload, offering expert advice and representation across a wide range of property-related disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on all aspects of property disputes
- Drafting legal documents including statements of case, witness statements, and briefs to counsel
- Engaging in Alternative Dispute Resolution processes
- Participating in business development and networking activities
- (Optional) Advocacy in court
Typical Cases Include:
- Residential landlord and tenant issues (e.g. possession, disrepair, deposit disputes)
- Commercial landlord and tenant matters (e.g. lease renewals, forfeiture, dilapidations)
- Service charge disputes
- Boundary and land access issues
- Rights of way and rights to light
- Adverse possession claims
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years PQE with experience in property litigation
- Strong client care and communication skills
- Confident negotiator with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Team player with a commitment to excellence
