Mechanical Fitter

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Fitter with our client, an international market leader in their niche industry. You will be offered great rates of pay, training and guidance and finish at lunch time on Fridays!

The Mechanical Assembler/Fitter is required to work on various types of assembly and fitting to a high standard.

 

MAIN DUTIES

• Mechanical motor fitting
• Building air pneumatics
• Building and fitting bearing housings
• Read and understand engineering drawings
• Maintain good housekeeping/good order, motivation and discipline while working in the factory or on site
• Uphold Health & Safety
• Risk assessments/Method statements

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in a similar role
• Be proficient with the use of various hand tools and mechanical equipment
• Have significant experience of building special purpose machinery
• Qualification in Engineering would be advantageous

Flexible attitude needed as you will be required to work overtime (paid at time and a half)
