With the recent changes to the National Living and Minimum Wages this month, the team decided to use this as the perfect opportunity to feature this in our April LinkedIn Poll but referencing the Real Living Wage.

We asked; As an employer, what is your current position regarding the Real Living Wage of £10.90 per hour? (£11.95 in London)

We anticipated there would be a mixed response to this month’s poll however this was not to be the case as 100% of the responders said that they had ‘signed up to this’.

According to the Living Wage Foundation, the Real Living Wage is voluntarily paid by over 12,000 employers in the UK including half of the FTSE 100 companies including Lush, Aviva, Ikea and Everton Football Club.
