Something happened last week which I thought I’d share with you.
It came about during a conversation with one of our team and a potential new client of ours.
They were sharing a story about a recent candidate their long-standing recruitment agency had placed who lasted just 94 days in the job.
The business owner said, “We’ve had our fingers burnt by the approach of this recruiter. They said that they were looking for a replacement but it would cost me the fee all over again!”
They had already paid £2,700 for the first candidate and were going to be charged £2,700 again for the replacement.
This happens often in our industry. This is not the way we like to do things.
We appreciate that sometimes things don’t always work out the way we or our clients want them to. We don’t believe our clients should have to pay to find a replacement if the candidate decides to leave within such a short space of time.

Think of it as a warranty.
